To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United Kingdom. You must complete an honest and accurate online consultation before any prescription or treatment can be issued.
Our pharmacist reserves the right to decline any consultation or prescription request if it is deemed clinically inappropriate, unsafe, or outside the scope of our service. Weight loss treatments are subject to clinical suitability criteria, including body mass index (BMI) thresholds and medical history assessments, in line with current clinical guidelines.
You must not use our service if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have been advised by a healthcare professional that weight loss medication is unsuitable for you.
All prescriptions issued through Pharmacy Weight Loss Reading are authorised solely by our GPhC-registered pharmacist or a qualified prescriber working in partnership with us. Prescriptions are issued only following a satisfactory clinical consultation and are valid for a single dispensing cycle unless otherwise stated.
We do not accept or dispense prescriptions from third parties or other healthcare providers through this service. It is your responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical information during your consultation. Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of your account and could pose a serious risk to your health.
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major debit and credit cards. All transactions are processed securely. Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable and are subject to change without prior notice.
Charges cover your consultation, prescription review, and medication. A separate charge may apply if a follow-up clinical review is required before continuation of treatment.
Once your consultation has been reviewed and your prescription approved by our pharmacist, your medication will be dispatched within 1 working day. Delivery is to UK addresses only. We use tracked, discreet packaging for all orders.
While we aim to meet all delivery timeframes, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your specified address.
You may cancel your order before your prescription has been approved and dispensed. Once a prescription has been issued and your medication dispatched, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds, in accordance with UK regulations governing prescription medicines.
If your consultation is declined by our clinical team, you will receive a full refund of any consultation fees paid. Please contact us promptly if you wish to cancel an order prior to dispatch.
We process your personal and medical data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is used solely for the purpose of providing clinical and pharmacy services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
